I made Animated Haikus for an assignment in my Motion Graphics class at CSUEB. Japanese language and culture is an interest of mine, so I chose to incorporate that into this animated poem assignment. The poems I chose were written by Matsuo Basho, a famous poet from the Edo period. I used a combination of After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere, and free vector graphics. These turned out nice enough to be featured in CSUEB's Black Box Exhibition in April 2017.
